You don’t have to figure this out on your own.
I know what it’s like to rebuild after things have come apart.
Recovery isn’t just about stopping something. It’s about learning how to live in a way that actually holds.
I work with people who are trying to build something steady in their recovery, especially in the early stages, or in the moments when things don’t look broken but don’t feel right either.
This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about the next honest step.
A little about who I am and how I come to this work.
I’m a person in recovery.
For more than a decade, I worked in ministry. Then alcoholism took that life apart.
What I do now comes out of what followed. Loss. Reckoning. Recovery. The slow rebuilding of a life on different ground.
I completed Certified Recovery Support Specialist training through the College of DuPage, along with a 300-hour internship in a residential treatment setting. I am currently in the final stage of state certification.
What I share comes from lived experience, not theory. Not from standing above anyone, but from having been brought low and learning how to live again.
